Building fire safety is important for people’s living. Therefore, installing fire protection facilities in strict accordance with the provisions of fire protection technical specifications and to carry out regular maintenance are significant.
Mains power
Maintenance:
1. When the mains power failure lasts for 8 hours, the main power supply should be turned off, and be turned on again when the mains power backs to normal.
2. Check if the main power supply air switch is disconnected, and re-close the switch after confirming that the power supply circuit is normal. If the switch fails to close, replace the switch.
3. If the main power circuit is in poor contact, you can crimp the power line again.
4. If the main power supply fuse is blown, after confirming that the circuit is normal, replace the fuse meeting the requirements.
5. If the main power supply equipment is damaged, it should be replaced.
Backup power
Maintenance:
1. If the backup battery is not in good contact, it is advisable to use a soldering iron or a special tool to weld or crimp the connection wire of the backup battery.
2. If the backup power supply fuse or fuse is blown, after confirming that the circuit is normal, replace the fuse or fuse that meets the requirements;
3. If the backup power supply voltage is insufficient, check the power charging device, and replace it if it fails.
4. Re-measure the undervoltage battery after charging for 24 hours. If it is still insufficient, replace the battery.
Fire Alarm System Inspection and Maintenance
Fire alarm panel
Inspection requirements:
1. Check the indicators, displaying screen and audio components of the panel every month, and they should be in good condition and effective;
2. Check the external circuit of the panel every month, make sure it is free of defects, the wiring terminals is not loose, the marking of the terminal is clear, and the external interface is in good contact.
3. Check the functions of the panel every quarter, make sure it functions normally.
4. Use a multimeter to measure the output voltage of the panel every quarter, ensure it meets the requirements of the product instruction manual.
5. Use a multimeter to measure the input voltage of the fire detector or module at the end of the control bus loop every quarter, ensure it meets the design requirements.
Maintenance:
1. Cut off the power every year, and use special cleaning tools to remove the dust in the circuit board, terminal blocks and cabinet.
2. A desiccant should be placed in the panel equipment cabinet when it is in a place with humid air.
3. When the power supply voltage value of the fire detector or module at the end of the loop is lower than the specified value in the manual, the circuit board should be replaced or the circuit should be adjusted.
4. Check the external wiring terminals of the fire alarm panel every year, and fasten them if they are loose.
5. Back up the software information in the fire alarm panel every quarter.
6. The battery should be maintained according to the product manual.
Point type smoke detector
Inspection requirements:
1. Check whether the point-type smoke detector is in normal working condition every quarter.
2. There should be 10% but not less than 50 for point type smoke detectors.
Maintenance:
1. Re-tighten loosely connected terminals, replace wiring components such as screws with rust marks, terminal gaskets, etc., remove rusted wire ends, and reconnect after tinning.
2. Point-type smoke detectors should be cleaned at least every three years after they have been put into operation for two years, and the detectors that are used in poor environments should be cleaned every year.
3. The cleaning of point-type smoke detectors should use professional equipment to clean the sensing parts and circuit boards. After cleaning, the response threshold of the detector should be calibrated, and it should be within the response threshold range specified by the manufacturer or factory inspection.
4. You should do the functional tests for point-type smoke detectors after cleaning, and only qualified ones can continue to be used.
Point type heat detector
Inspection requirements:
1. Check whether the point-type heat detector is in normal working condition every quarter.
2. Point-type heat detectors should have 10% spare.
Maintenance:
1. Retighten loosely connected terminals, replace wiring components such as screws with rust marks, terminal gaskets, etc., remove rusted wire ends, and reconnect after tinning.
2. After two years of operation, point-type heat detectors should be cleaned at least once every three years, and the detectors with poor environment should be cleaned every year.
3. The cleaning of point-type heat detectors should use professional equipment to clean the sensing parts and circuit boards. After cleaning, the response threshold of the detector should be calibrated, and it should be within the response threshold specified by the manufacturer or factory inspection.
Necessary function tests should be done after cleaning the point-type heat detector, and those who pass the test can continue to be used.
