Both have fire alarm control panel, smoke or heat detectors, manual call points and strobe sounders. The activation of a detector or manual call point will activate the strobe sounders. The only difference between the wireless and wired, is with a wireless system the communication between the control panel and the detection and sounders is carried out over radio waves, but with a wired system, it is via electrically conductive cables.
